A fun little bit, the invitations they handed out, had cute little poems ranging everywhere from war to politics to everyday life. Just another element that brings life to the Hayseeders Ball.
As I said before, many misspelled words, in an act of defiance. They can get tricky to read but once you figure it out, they are all so intriguing.

Both of these invitations, though different hold similar truths to the timeline. Between, the presidential election with George W, the cold winter coming, the millennial problems arising, big potatoes, small potatoes. The Hayseeders and Waybackers covered it all.

This year wasn't the happiest of years with the Hayseeders, the food supply was low, the winter was cruel and war was hard. But they still put on a smile and tried to enjoy themselves for a night, they kept the tradition alive, even through hard times.
