If anything mattered that night, it was what everyone was wearing!!
Many of these vintage dresses are owned by Norma Spurling. This is a little sneak peak of her personal collection. A group of dresses from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Theses fabrics hold so much history.
Also some dresses and a suit from Joanna and Tony Sousa!
Norma's Father was one of the original 40 Hayseeders from back in the day!
Lot of History with this one suit. I don't remember the story entirely but a member of Tony Sousa's family, wore this suit, and had a heart attack on the dance floor.
Most of these dresses are from late 1800s to early 1900s era.
This is Amanda, a newcomer to the Ball. She attended with one of her friends, with no real connection to the Ball, no former family. She enjoyed the night and is now looking to get more women involved in the Ball. She was a bit dumbfounded about no women Hayseeders. I don't know her plan for next year but hopefully she will help the tradition roll on.
Her dress is a vintage dress, that belonged to her grandmother.
