Athletic Eligibility Information

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse, located in Iowa City, Iowa, handles registration to determine a student’s initial eligibility to play sports at a Division I or Division II college or university. Students are encouraged to register with the Clearinghouse as early as their sophomore year online at:

NCAA Clearing House

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse, located in Iowa City, Iowa, handles registration to determine a student’s initial eligibility to play sports at a Division I or Division II college or university. Seniors are encouraged to register with the Clearinghouse online at: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/


When signing up for the SAT/ACT, request test scores to be sent to the NCAA eligibility center (using the code is 9999).

There is a fee for registering with the Clearinghouse. Fee waivers are available to all students who have received an SAT or ACT fee waiver.

Please be sure that the high school registrar sends your transcript to the NCAA Clearinghouse for processing.
