POSSE Scholarship Advice -- The Posse Scholarship is a prestigious full-tuition program for young leaders from diverse backgrounds. It uses a unique selection process that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and leadership. Scholars join a supportive cohort, boosting their academic and social success while reducing financial burdens and empowering them to become changemakers.
BigFuture by College Board -- BigFuture by College Board provides personalized tasks for 10th and 11th graders through their account dashboard. Students who successfully complete these tasks can earn entries into monthly scholarship drawings, with prizes of $500 and $40,000 available.
College Application & Admission Timeline -- This timeline and collection of resources outline the college search and application journey from 9th to 12th grade.
Get ready for the PSAT. Achieving strong test scores as a junior can open doors to academic honors, including National Merit recognition, as well as programs and recruitment opportunities for Black, Latinx, Indigenous, rural, first-generation, and low-income students.
Compass Guide to Admissions and Testing -- Begin outlining a standardized testing plan aimed at taking the SAT or ACT at least once before the school year concludes.
