Mia(My-ya) is an enthusiastic and optimistic creative, passionate about fostering inclusive, expressive, and collaborative spaces. She is especially passionate about advocating for underrepresented populations and providing exciting college and career support to students—helping them discover their paths and pursue their goals with confidence. Inspired by her own journey, Mia is committed to uplifting and empowering young people, always aiming to be the person she needed when she was growing up.

About the College & Career Center
The College & Career Center is a vibrant hub filled with essential resources, guidance, and opportunities related to college, careers, scholarships, financial aid, and much more. We encourage students in grades 9–12 to start planning early using the MCPS Four-Year Plan, and I am here to assist you at every step.
What We Offer
Research Support: Whether you're investigating colleges, crafting essays, applying for scholarships, or exploring career options.
Test Preparation: Learn about the SAT, ACT, and other standardized tests.
Resources: Access to books, brochures, online tools, and personalized one-on-one support.
Guest speakers, college representatives, and career professionals frequently visit to share valuable insights and opportunities.
