My name is Nicole O'Malley and I will be the 6th grade counselor (last names A-S) for the 2026-27 school year.  This will be my 13th year as a school counselor and 5th year at RHMS. I have previously worked at several other MCPS schools.

I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Temple University, in Philadelphia. I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Most of my time is spent with my family.  We love to travel and explore new areas.

As a school counselor, I am here to support the whole student. The middle school years are integral to social emotional development. I enjoy supporting students through that growth, while helping them understand the type of learner that they are.
