Miss Murray has been at Fox Chapel since 2007; she enjoys the Center Program because the curriculum integrate all the subjects and allows students to build connections across curriculums and take ownership of their learning.  She expects students to be responsible and trustworthy in regards to both schoolwork and friendship.  

Originally from Syracuse, NY, Miss Murray has also lived in Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.  After graduating from Gaithersburg High School, Miss Murray went on to attend Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, earning both her BA in History and BS in Elementary Education during her four years there.  Family time has always been important to Miss Murray and grew up visiting family on the Jersey shore and in Missouri with her parents and two brothers.

Miss Murray's favorite thing to do is to take road trips and explore the different museums and local attractions along the way.  One day, Miss Murray would love to visit all 50 states and drive across the country and up the Pacific Coast Highway.  Miss Murray loves to be crafty and is constantly looking for inspiration.  Her favorite craft/holiday tradition is her family's Holiday Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.
