Grade 5

Welcome to 5th Grade!

The Fox Chapel Center for Enriched Studies offers a challenging curriculum focused on Reading and Writing for advanced learners. In addition, we provide Compacted Math 5/6. Students are presented with research opportunities in reading, writing, science, and social studies.

Students enter our program as fourth graders and continue on in fifth grade. This two year program builds a community of learners and friends. They are offered many different opportunities in addition to the daily life of a fifth grader in an MCPS school. Click on the links to the left to learn more about fifth grade!
