The Montgomery Scholars Program is a selective-admission two-year interdisciplinary honors program designed for high school graduates as the first step in completing a four-year degree. The deadline is January 31st and you must have applied to Montgomery College before you can apply for Montgomery Scholars.
Montgomery Scholars will launch their college studies at a fraction of the cost of most four-year schools. The College will award merit scholarships to each student admitted into the Scholars program. Read more.

The Board of Trustees Academic Specialty Scholarship is for Talented Montgomery County high school graduates who plan to enroll at any Montgomery College Campus. This is a one-year scholarship that covers the full-time cost of tuition and fees at the county resident tuition rate, up to a maximum of 15 credits per semester. for requirements click here
The Macklin Business School Scholarship - The Macklin Business Institute (MBI) Honors Program provides a collegiate experience that parallels that of the best business schools in the country, bringing together highly talented students interested in business. The two-year program is designed for incoming MC freshmen, while the one-year program is for second-year college students. Upon completion of the program, students will have unique opportunities which will expand their transfer options. For more information click here.
Elizabeth Ratner nursing scholarship - $6000/ year up to four years - intended for students entering a college nursing program. One award of $24,000 @ $6000 per year. Deadline April 15, 2025.
2025 Smart Growth Scholarship - $5000 - from Chevy Chase Land Company, for a senior who is interested in pursuing a career in architecture, engineering, environmental sustainability, real estate development or land use/transportation planning. Deadline March 15, 2025

Nominations are opening soon for Posse Scholars! The Posse Foundation partners with colleges & universities across the country to provide full 4-year tuition scholarships for students. Nominations are for 11th Grade students who exhibit leadership abilities. If you are a Junior and feel as though you meet these criteria, please reach out to your Counselor or Mrs. Heald in order to be considered.
Students will need to go through a series of interviews and if chosen, are a part of a pre-collegiate program.

The GoSkills female founder wants to encourage other young women who are thinking about starting a business. GoSkills is offering a $2,000 scholarship to any female high school or college student who may be interested in starting a business.
