For those of you interested in exploring military options, your CCIC can help. Many of the same trades and programs you are studying here at B-CC are also available in the military. Come to the College/Career Center to start exploring.
Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies:
U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY
U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD
U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO
U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY.
The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New London, CT, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment. If you are interested in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, you can apply directly via the Academy's website.
