Because lunch is served later in the day, providing a daily snack is essential to help your child stay focused and energized. Teachers cannot provide snacks for students who forget to bring one. Snack time will begin around 10:00am.
Snack Ideas:
Please send healthy, dry items that your child can easily open, such as carrots, crackers, beef sticks, or granola bars.
Snacks to Avoid:
To keep our carpeted classrooms clean and mess-free, please avoid wet, mushy, or stain-prone foods like yogurt, applesauce, juicy fruits, and candy.
Snack Placement:
Please pack your child’s snack separately from their lunch. We strongly recommend placing the snack in the small pocket of their backpack for easy access and to keep it safe.
Please label your child’s snack clearly, especially in case it accidentally falls out of their cubby.
