Leadership weekend to Boys Harbor was one of my favorite experiences!
Stay focused on your goals. Life will throw a lot of curve balls but you have the choice on where you want your life to go.
I found a job as a receptionist at a Concrete Testing Lab after graduating high school. Over the years, I gained experience to where I now run the company for another Lab. I'm involved in all aspects of the business; administration, HR, project management and business finances. While I don't have a college degree, I am continuously learning in the field I'm in.
MCHS is dedicated to key strategic pillars for student success:
Building Future Travelers and Leaders: We prepare our graduates to navigate complex global landscapes, equipped with critical thinking, effective communication, and collaborative skills that are essential for leadership in any field.
Cultivating Responsible Citizens: Through a commitment to social-emotional learning (SEL) and community engagement, we instill in our students a strong sense of responsibility, empathy, and a desire to contribute positively to their communities and the world.
Ensuring Unmatched Head Starts: Our Early College program, coupled with the individualized support of our Teacher Counselor model, provides our students with an unparalleled advantage, preparing them to enter four-year universities as sophomores or juniors, or even with an Associate Degree, giving them a significant head start on their chosen career paths.
Fostering Initiative and Self-Efficacy: We empower students to take ownership of their learning and personal growth, encouraging independent thinking, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to their academic and career trajectories.
