Justin Espinal
Hello everyone, my name is Justin Espinal,
and I am a proud alumnus of Middle College High School at LaGuardia Community College.
I am currently attending John Jay College of Criminal Justice, pursuing a BA in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
I have so many favorite memories I’m sure the staff in middle college will tell you, I ran with everything I had in that school. I did all that I could, being the house rep that stood out to being that captain of the baseball team, to 4x national honors society, etc… I don’t say this to show boat or anything cause I’m not, I say that as achievements that I have earned along the way. This school gave me nothing but great memories. And messing with teachers the principle just gaining these connections are so meaningful. Graduation was such a memory because I missed my 8th graduation due to COVID so looking forward for that day meant so much. Don’t worry about others memory’s and make your own so you can think back like I am and really appreciate life and what this school has given you.
I would say to enjoy day by day. REALLY REALLY focus on those PBATS trust me I did 3 of them before senior year so I can enjoy school during my second semester of junior year the my senior year. Get your science and Math PBAT done as fast as possible. Become a House Rep, join your community and be a voice for the other students. Join an athletics team. Don’t waste these years just doing school. Achieve more because it’s there 4 years that’ll make or break you but that’s only if you allow it.
I currently work in law enforcement and serve as a Sergeant in the NYPD Cadet Corps, Deputy Chief of Staff for the John Jay Student Council, and Treasurer of the Dominican Student Association. During high school, I served as Captain of the baseball team, Head House Representative, Yearbook Committee member, and National Honor Society member .
