Course Description:
Graphic Design 1 students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to create a successful design. Students will use industry standard design software, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a regular basis in this course. Topics covered include color theory, typography, branding, and careers in Graphic Design. Students will create digital layouts, logos, posters, branding, and more.
Course Description:
In Graphic Design II students will expand their skills in Adobe design software, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign. The emphasis of this course will be visual thinking and creative problem solving in art. Students will receive deeper instruction on the use and application of the softwars:when and how to use each program for the best overall outcome of the finished print publication product.
