Meet the Librarian

Hello, everyone I am Mrs. Reed the librarian here at Ida Greene Elementary School. This is my fourth year as the librarian at IGE, but my seventh year as a school librarian. Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught kindergarten for three years. I graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 2012 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology and Design from the University of Southern Mississippi. I reside in Belzoni, MS with my husband and beautiful baby boy! I enjoy being in the library with all of the books!!!
