Lucy Martin

Lucy was born in Kent and began dancing at a young age. She had a keen interest in performance when she came across contemporary dance at the age of 13 and joined her school’s dance company. She joined The Place CAT Scheme in 2013 and later joined Shift Youth Dance Company, working with Ben Duke.

Lucy continued her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2016, working with choreographers such as Tiia Ourila, Sharon Watson, Nuno Mesquita and Alleyne Dance. She graduated with a first class honours degree.

A particular highlight for Lucy was working with Joseph Mercier on several developments of his piece Desperate Gestures and getting to perform at Live Art Bistro and Yorkshire Dance.

Will Thompson

Will Thompson was born in 1994 in South-East London. After being introduced to dance during his first few years at secondary school, his training began on the Trinity Laban CAT scheme while also being part of Shoreditch Youth Dance. After two years Thompson went on to Rambert School, receiving a BA HONS in 2016.

During his last year of training he was one of the selected artists to take part in DV8 Physical Theatres Professional Development programme. Since, his work within theatre and dance has expanded across both stage and film. Thompson has worked with and performed in creations by Hannes Langolf, INNE|Iván Pérez, Johannes Wieland, Maciej Kuźmiński and Maxine Doyle amongst other directors, choreographers and collaborators, which have been created and performed both internationally and within the UK.

Liam Hannigan

I have spent the past 3 years working towards and achieving a BA(Hons) Professional Musicianship specialising in songwriting at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Whether it’s in a venue or on the corner of a street, music resonates with me in a way that sparks creativity and passion. I am a energetic, motivated and happy person who demonstrates devotion to any task put in front of me.

In vocations such as the primary stage manager at The Vicars Picnic Music Festival, I gained key communicational skills allowing me to coordinate a large amount of volunteers as well as working beside them as an integral part of a team. I flourish in an environment that is restlessly evolving presenting new challenges everyday.

I recently released three singles, the first of which "The Waves" managed to reach No.13 in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart. It has since caught the attention of BBC Introducing Cornwall who have been supporting my music by regularly playing my work on the David White show.

Alana Hazzard

Alana is a wedding and events singer/ songwriter. She will be performing at our OnMas Festival in July alongside some of our other Alumni students. We can't wait to hear her latest songs.

Issey Cross

Issey Cross is a London-based singer born in Kent. Her three features, on Wilkinson's Used to This, Luude's Oh My ft. Moby, and Nathan Dawe & Bru-C's "Oh Baby" ft. Bshp, charted on the UK Singles Chart at numbers #33, #98, and #35.

"Growing up in Kent, I was surrounded by a lot of singer-songwriters which definitely helped me find my love for writing and performing live, but moving to London really helped me find the sound that I have now. I think just being in the city and living in Tottenham opened my mind up and showed me that I could make any music I wanted to make."
