Effective communication of course goals and content is integral to student success and paramount in an emergency situation. Please also include the methods of communication listed in your syllabus.

Please keep in mind that Moodle storage is limited. For larger files it is recommended that you provide a link to your file from Google Drive in your Moodle course.
Designate a central place to collect student submissions.
Please keep in mind that a student's individual file upload to Moodle is limited. Consider using Google Drive links for large student submissions.
Continue class discussions and identify what tool(s) will be used.
Synchronous Discussions over Google Hangouts or Bongo in Moodle.
Asynchronous Discussions over Moodle Forums.
Synchronous discussions refer to all participants online at the same time working on the same activity, such as a discussion. Asynchronous refers to students continually adding to the conversation on their own time over a set period of time. See the FAQs for more information.
Remember that depending on the circumstances, access to reliable internet and the necessary hardware (webcam, microphone or keyboard, speakers) may be limited, so be prepared to be flexible with attendance and participation in synchronous discussions. If you are interested in recording synchronous discussions, please be aware that Google Hangouts does not have this option.
Identify an option for holding class and/or office hours virtually.

One possibility may be that the instructor completes and records the lab in the classroom setting. This video could be shared with students and they could be required to answer questions regarding the instructor's shared lab experience.
