Student teaching is the final component of your teacher preparation journey at Mary Baldwin University. This application outlines the essential requirements and procedures to ensure a successful placement experience. Please review each section carefully and complete all steps by the stated deadlines. Your advisor and the School of Education are here to support you throughout this process.
β Meeting with Your Advisor is REQUIRED - Before submitting your student teaching application, you will need to meet with your academic advisor to confirm your readiness and make sure all requirements are on track.
β To be eligible for student teaching, you must have successfully completed Level 2 of the Teacher Education Program (TEP). Refer to the TEP Progression Chart for more details.
β You must also complete all required coursework, modules, and attempt all required testing by the deadlines listed in your application. See your endorsement checklist and advisor for details.
Fall Semester: Due by July 15
Spring Semester: Due by November 15
