Review the following information carefully before submitting a practicum request.
Late requests may not be filled, depending on availability. Practicum requests will not be accepted after the add/drop period ends.
Applications must be submitted using your MBU email address.
All practicums must align with your endorsement area.
A separate practicum request is required for each course.
Undergraduate students
Before enrolling in a practicum, undergraduate students must apply to and be accepted into the Teacher Education Program (TEP). The TEP application is available here.
Graduate students are automatically part of the TEP.
Instructional Strategies and Methods Courses
For Instructional Strategies and many Methods courses, students must:
Be at Level 2 of the Teacher Education Program, and
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

The MBU Field Placement Coordinator and the Academic and Student Services Director complete course registrations for practicums, ED 607, and ED 624, and Student Teaching Placement requests.
