3D PRint face-shield ASSEMBLY

at home INSTRUCTIONS

Stage 1: Cleaning

Please presume that all components are a potential risk of the virus spreading. We are trying to keep as clean a production line as possible. Once you have opened the box, clean every component (including any pen marks) using the antibacterial spray and a cloth. This should then be allowed to dry. Clean your hands for two happy birthday songs!

Stage 2: Pull apart headbands

The headbands print on a stack of 15. These can easily be pulled apart by hand

Stage 3: Remove excess

Sand and remove any excess strands of plastic left over from the 3D Printer.

Stage 3: Assembly

Layout all components on a worksurface. Combine the large and small headbands, then slot the the headbands and clear visor together to form the face-shield. Afterwards, secure both sides together using two elastic bands and a small knot.

Stage 4: Pre-packaging Clean

Onçe you have 10 face-shields ready to be packaged please give each face-shield and the bag a thorough clean using the anti-bacterial spray and cloth.

Stage 5: Packaging

Take 10 completed face-shields and pack them in a reused clean plastic bag. You should have enough plastic bags for 50 face-shields.

Stage 6: Returning the face-shields

If you have a larger box to donate (you will not get it back) please place your 5 bags of faceshields in this box. If you do not, please use the box that you were sent to return the items and leave the bags loose.

Please ensure you return the following items:

  • Any extra components (broken or functioning)
