What is the ELMO project about?
The ELMO (Environmental Learning Through Mobile Device) project, https://elmo-erasmus.eu/
At the heart of the project is the belief that mobile technology offers an opportunity to improve environmental education. Wireless learning technologies allow learning to extend beyond the four walls of our classrooms and the hours of the school day.
Specifically, the objectives of the project are:
Using mobile technologies to transform environmental education.
Train teachers to design and carry out learning activities that integrate mobile technologies into their pedagogical methods, through the prism of environmental issues.
Widely disseminate activities and approaches that use mobile learning technologies to enhance students' skills during educational activities.
The program involves schools from three other European countries, Norway, Italy and Greece. The teachers from our school who participated in the work of the meeting were the teachers of the Erasmus+ team.
The planned activities of the project include theoretical-practical case studies, in which mobile phone technology is used for the development of activities that promote environmental education.
