It has been another wonderful week at Marden. This week several children have come to see me to share their great work. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with them about their learning. Their creativity and enthusiasm towards their work was excellent. In recognition of their hard work, I was pleased to award some golden house points - worth 10 house points each!
Year 6 have been in Aylmerton in Norfolk for their residential this week. From the pictures they have shared it is evident they have had a wonderful time. We look forward to seeing them on Monday and hearing all about their experiences.
There are lots of trips and events coming up over the next couple of weeks. Please remember to check the key dates below to stay informed about dates/timings for these.
We hope you have a lovely weekend and we'll see you all on Monday.

As we grow up, we’re inevitably exposed to new and challenging feelings – whether it’s sadness, fear or rage. These emotions can be tough to handle when we’re still learning about the world – and even once we’ve passed into adulthood – which is why emotional literacy is a vital life skill.
Of course, when emotions are running high, it can be tricky to help young people process these feelings in a healthy way, but it’s incredibly important that we do so as parents and educators. This free guide provides you with expert tips on teaching children to recognise their own emotions and deal with them in a mature manner.
