Year 6  Learning Update

Inquiry

We had a very cold but interesting walk up onto the high street of the village last week, to explore many of the old buildings that we have in Marden.  The children took lots of pictures as we discussed materials that the buildings were made from, times and periods that they were built in, and the changes in architecture over the years.  We have learnt lots of interesting facts from each other and would like to say thank you to those of you who have shared pictures and stories about the village in the past.

Science

We have been exploring our topic of light.  We have made periscopes, as well as learning about reflection and how we can navigate the direction that light travels in.
