Year 1     Learning Update

Central idea: Celebrations can enhance the way we see the world. 

We have been reading our core text 'Kipper's Birthday' and have been thinking about what we would need to include in our own parties. We have written about balanced diets after exploring the 'eatwell plate' and we have made fairy cakes and fruit kebabs too. After being inspired by our focus artist, we have used our printing skills to make decorations as we prepare for our party.

Reminder: PE is on Tuesdays and outdoor learning is on Thursdays. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing in school for this.
