It was lovely to see so many parents and carers at Parents Evening on Wednesday and Thursday this week. We hope that the meetings were beneficial and provided you with an update on your child’s progress and attainment in school. Your involvement is invaluable in fostering a strong home-school partnership, and we appreciate your commitment to your children’s education.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Reverend Nicky for welcoming us into the church for our whole school assembly this week. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Moreover, I am grateful to those parents who attended our EYFS/Key Stage 1 Easter Bonnet Parade on Thursday. We were fortunate to enjoy lovely weather that allowed us to hold the event outdoors this year. The children's bonnets were truly fantastic, demonstrating their creativity and the effort you put into helping them design and make these at home.
Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for providing delightful sweet treats for the Easter Egg hunt. This event was a resounding success and a wonderful way for the children to celebrate the end of term. I am also thankful for the new netball equipment the PTA has generously supplied for the school. This will significantly enhance our PE lessons and support the netball team as they prepare for future competitions. The PTA is continually seeking additional volunteers to join their efforts. If you are interested in supporting the school in this manner, they will be having a coffee morning on the 28th April at drop off time where you can come and talk to them about ways in which you can support.
As we approach the end of term, I would like to say a big thank you for your ongoing support. I wish you all a restful break and look forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 22nd April.
