SDG Project

Welcome to Year 5! Miss Thatcher, Miss Henry, Mrs Mills and Mr Cosgrove are so excited for the year ahead. 

This week we have explored how to conserve and protect our oceans. The children explored different ways in which human actions can harm marine life and considered how we can make a positive impact.As part of their work, they planned and recorded their own news reports, writing scripts and presenting their findings on ocean protection, through a video. They also took part in a creative recycling project, turning plastic bottles into unique jellyfish artwork.

The children showed great enthusiasm and engagement throughout, and we are very proud of their thoughtful contributions.
