The children have made a fantastic start to their new inquiry into cultural identity. They have been exploring what makes each of them unique by reflecting on who they are, what they like, and the different experiences that shape their identities. Through discussion and creative activities, they have also begun to celebrate the many differences in identity within our world, developing a deeper understanding of diversity and belonging. This learning is now inspiring ideas for a narrative they will be writing next week.
The children are thoroughly enjoying this term’s PE focus on gymnastics, showing enthusiasm and perseverance in every lesson. They have been working hard to create sequences of rotations and jumps, collaborating with their partners to coordinate their movements and build impressive routines.
In mathematics, the children have been focusing on learning their remaining times tables to strengthen their fluency and recall. Their enthusiasm and determination to improve are already shining through!
