Language Arts with Mr. Wood

In language arts class we had a change in plans- no spelling unit.  I think the kids where more than okay with this change!  There were quite a few kids that needed to finish their Walk Against Hunger Writing Assignment from last week.  Those kids worked with Mr. Wood to finish up and I took the kids that were done to the library and we did some short reading comprehension activities as a group.  Mr. Wood came up with an awesome idea for the kids to create their own board game!  They will be working in small groups to come up with a theme, design the game, and write directions to play the game.
