Secondary leadership structure

Welcome to Manor Lakes P-12 College. Our school provides a challenging and supportive learning environment with high expectations. These school expectations are the basis of the actions of the whole school community.

Our secondary school years aim to build on the foundation for students’ learning that has occurred in the primary years. The focus of our teaching and learning is to ensure students are able to access their preferred pathways in the further years of secondary school – VCAL, VCE, or directly to employment.

In the first two years of secondary schooling, all of our students will be involved in a range of activities that supplement the learning they do in the classroom including; camps, excursions, sporting opportunities, performance and art programs, and lunchtime clubs and activities. Specialist programs offered include Visual Art, Performing Arts and Physical Education, Technology (Food, Textiles and Wood) and Digital Technologies.

Parents have opportunities for involvement with the school and their child’s learning through teacher reports on Compass, (an online communication tool which is referred to further in this booklet); School Council, sub committees of School Council and through personal contact with teachers and school leadership.

This site is intended to assist Year 7 parents in prepare their child to begin in the secondary school in 2021, as well as provide general information about the College.
