This week we had our Sports Day and we took part in some challenging but exciting activities. See some of the activities that we completed below. One of the Manor memories for Reception is to ride on the DLR. We were able to complete this memory on the 28th of June 2024. It was such an exciting experience for the children who enjoyed the ride on the train. During the academic year, we also learnt about different types of transportation and we wanted to witness planes taking off. So we used one stone to kill two birds as the saying goes. We actually went on the DLR to Royal Albert Docks where we got to see four planes take off and at least one land. Both children and adults were really happy. Here are a few quotes about the trip from the children. Davyd said "it was good ,we saw aeroplanes and we took a train to get there." Caleb said " we saw the trains go fast on the tracks." Kristian said " I enjoyed the trip and I had fun". Aaliyah said"I want to go on the aeroplanes, It was noisy because the planes were very close".
