To celebrate Digital Citizenship Week in October, Hāpara is hosting its first ever Digital Citizenship Contest. Tell us why digital citizenship is your superpower.
Enter the Hāpara Digital Citizenship Contest for a chance to win prizes, earn recognition badges and be interviewed on the Student Voice Podcast. Submissions can be in any medium such as a PSA, podcast, poster, infographic, song, etc.
Guiding questions:
How have you exemplified responsible digital citizenship?
What do you do to promote digital citizenship among your classmates and friends?
What is the difference between an inappropriate site and an off-task site?
What would you do if a friend shared something with you or someone else online that you thought was risky?
Who do you interact with online and why?
What values do your favorite social media influencers promote? Which values do they demonstrate?
Rules:
Entries must include the theme “Digital citizenship is my superpower!”
Entries cannot include copyrighted material and must be your original work.
Videos, songs, podcasts, animations, etc. may be no longer than 3 minutes.
The Hāpara Digital Citizenship Contest is open to all K-12 students worldwide. Your school must use Hāpara to be eligible.
