This term we will be focusing on Gratitude and Pepeha.
Pepeha is an important value that connects us together as people. It draws whakapapa, turangawaewae , whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga, identity and manaakitanga together to give us a sense of belonging.
On a personal level gratitude and manaakitanga are deeply connected. How can we as people support each other to grow and thrive. Essentially being thankful for what others do is part of the act of caring for them, which is manaakitanga in action.
