In Year 10 Mathematics during 2026, we will build strong mathematical skills across number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and financial maths. During the year, students will learn topics such as exponents and scientific form, data visualisation, measurement and geometry (including circles, angles, area, volume, and 3D shapes), linear graphs, financial maths, rates and ratios, algebra and equations, rational and irrational numbers, statistics and data analysis, probability, and quadratics. Learning will take place through class teaching, practice activities, investigations, and digital learning through Hāpara. In class, students are expected to be respectful, stay on task, show their working, ask questions when unsure, and complete tasks on time. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to try, learn from mistakes, and achieve success in mathematics.
