Discovery Nest offers fun and creative projects for all ages five and older.

Activities are held several times each year at the Silver Creek Campus in Snowflake.

Our next round of activities will be held on the first three Mondays in June. These free activities are for all ages five and older. No appointment is required. Families may drop by the Silver Creek Campus Library in Snowflake anytime between 10 am - 2 pm for these free activities:

Monday, June 2 – Pop-up Castle Card - an extra-large card with a pop-up 3-D castle on the inside
Monday, June 9 - Double Flap Card with Quilling - a card with two flaps to open and quilling on the front
Monday, June 16 - Magnetic Banner - a three-part banner with silhouette die-cut pieces and a magnetic backing

Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 - Freestanding Spinner Cards

These cards have a spinning element in the center, but also fold flat for mailing.

Our first ever activity for adults and teens!

Participants made cards with a magnetic closure and a surprise pop-up gift bag inside.

On November 22, 2023, families visited the Silver Creek Campus Library to create swing-n-sway cards, which are interactive cards with a swinging element on the front. Participants chose from either a Thanksgiving/fall theme or a Christmas/winter theme for their project.
