Discovery Nest at the SCC Library
The Library had a very successful Discovery Nest activity on Wednesday, November 23 at the Silver Creek Campus Library in Snowflake. The children who attended learned quilling, which is an art form that involves rolling, shaping and gluing strips of paper to create decorative designs. They chose from a Thanksgiving/fall theme or a Christmas/winter theme to create quilled decorations, gift tags and ornaments. So do some of us. Like abstract academic works? So do some of us. We discuss both and everything in-between. Join us the second Wednesdays of the month at 2:00 pm. The next meeting is December 14, 2022.
Discovery Nest offers fun and creative projects for children ages 5-12 held several times a year at the Silver Creek Campus Library in Snowflake. An activity was just held on November 23, 2022 where participants made quilled decorations, gift tags and ornaments. The next events will be held in June 2023.
