April is National Poetry Month
April is National Poetry Month
National Poetry Month, established by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, is celebrated every April to promote poetry and its importance in our culture. It also encourages people of all ages to read, write, and share poetry.
You can celebrate National Poetry Month with a poetry book available at your NPC Library!

Like to share books you read or discover new ones? Join the fun! Participants meet online to discuss whatever they are currently reading or just to get suggestions from what others are reading. From young adult literature to abstract academic works, we discuss both and everything in between. Join us monthly on the second Wednesday at 2 pm. Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 9.

Whether you're eager to learn new techniques, experiment with different materials, or showcase your skills, this gathering offers a welcoming space for all. You'll connect with fellow enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and be inspired by the diverse talents within the community. If you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, Fiber Folke invites you to explore the rich textures and vibrant possibilities of fiber arts together.
Discovery Nest offers fun and creative projects for all ages five and up. Activities are held several times each year at the Silver Creek Campus in Snowflake. The next round of activities will be in June.
