NPC Library at Eagle Fest
The Library held an activity at NPC's recent Eagle Fest at the Silver Creek Campus. Participants were invited to create their own embossed paper strip bookmark. They chose from a rainbow of colors and determined their own pattern for applying the strips to their bookmark. They then chose from six embossed patterns to add texture to their bookmark. As an optional finishing touch, they could choose to add a reading quote. No two bookmarks were the same, and the level of creativity displayed was awesome! Thanks so much to all who participated!

The next round of Discovery Nest activities will be held on the first three Mondays in June. These free activities are for all ages five and older. No appointment is required. Families may drop by the Silver Creek Campus Library in Snowflake anytime between 10 am - 2 pm for these free activities:
Monday, June 2 – Pop-up Castle Card - an extra-large card with a pop-up 3-D castle on the inside
Monday, June 9 - Double Flap Card with Quilling - a card with two flaps to open and quilling on the front
Monday, June 16 - Magnetic Banner - a three-part banner with silhouette die-cut pieces and a magnetic backing
Like to share books you read or discover new ones? Join the fun! Participants meet online to discuss whatever they are currently reading or to get suggestions from what others are reading. Join us for our last meeting of the semester on Wednesday, May 14 at 2 pm. Then our next meeting will be in September.
