General Tips- for GVSU students
There is definitely more to it than the list below, but here are a few highlighted resources to get you started. The Study Abroad Office at GVSU is definitely the resource you want to focus on to make sure you are on track!
Getting started
Start early! The sooner you start thinking about and planning your study abroad trip, the more prepared you will feel, the less stressful it will be and the higher the chances everything will go smoothly.

Figuring out the program you want to do...
The GVSU Study Abroad Office offers virtual and drop-in peer advising that is helpful every step up the way when studying abroad, even when you have no idea what program you want to do yet, they are there to help!
Financing
Starting early is a common theme, and it is appropriate throughout the whole process, including financing your trip!
Even if it's just a scholarship you want to use, approval can take time. Click below for more info:
Pack it up!
Try to pack sooner than later to make sure you have time to buy things you might be missing at home.
Each place is different, so is going to have a different packing list. The programming you are doing will most likely provide you with some recommendations, but searching online can also be helpful.

La Tertulia (GVSU Spanish Club)
