Coming into this trip I had little knowledge of the Bloomsbury Group or what research in the archives was like. However, I cannot begin to put into words how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to immerse myself within this course. Going into archives and handling primary documents and artifacts, I was overcome by a surreal sensation that transported me to another time. Our readings supplemented our adventures and I particularly enjoyed Economic Consequences of Peace by John Maynard Keynes due to its innovative, analytical nature.

As a future clinician and researcher, it is vital that I exhibit compassion and dignity to provide my patients with equitable care. This begins with an awareness of various cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and life experiences. The London Study Abroad Program facilitated this by exposing me to an entirely new culture and allowing me to broaden my worldview. Through this experience, I grew both professionally and personally. I am incredibly indebted to Dr. J Ashley Foster and my peers for helping me make memories for a lifetime.

This course has allowed me to appreciate a new country with my classmates. I am so appreciative of all the archives we went to. The fact that we got to touch the same papers and documents that many influential individuals have curated is still astounding to me. Also, the amount of work that these preservationists go through in order to protect this documents is amazing. My favorite course reading was Three Guineas because of how advanced Woolf's thoughts were on Women's rights at the time. I cannot thank Dr. J Ashley Foster enough for this opportunity and adventure I was able to experience!

This course has provided me with several new insights. In particular, I am grateful to have had the experience to study in several archives. The discussions held and the documents studied in these spaces were unforgettable, and I hope that my fondness of these experiences is conveyed in my writings. I often found myself gravitating toward artistic documents and exploring the themes of our study through the context of art. Additionally, my favorite course reading was a tie between CLR James' Letters from London and Virginia Woolf's Three Guineas. I was especially interested in Woolf's investigation of the intersection of sexism and fascism within 1930's England. Overall, these three weeks in London were an unforgettable adventure! I owe this gratitude to Dr. J Ashley Foster, my peers, the archives who kindly hosted us, and Fresno State. Cheers to fostering intellectual curiosity!

Being able to explore London throughout this course, as well as being surrounded by such a vibrant, bustling atmosphere was more insightful than I could ever have imagined. Diving deep into the archives, and analyzing each document in conjunction with the Bloomsbury topic of the course has broadened my horizons of critical and emotional thinking like no other course I have taken in the past has done before. It was a complete pleasure to have worked with Dr. J. Ashley Foster-- a professor who deserves the world for how well they conducted the course, and for being an amazing human being to travel with. Being under Dr. Foster's tutelage was one of the best intellectual experiences I have had at the University level.
