College Committees 

I am involved as an active member of the CCSF community on a variety of interdisciplinary committees. In addition to the committees listed below, I also attend the Technology Committee and DEA Sub-Committee Meetings and occasionally present as DE Coordinator at the College-Wide Curriculum Committee , the Academic Senate. The Associated Students, and The ESL Curriculum Committee.

Below are the committees on which I have recently served.

I represent ESL Credit and Non-Credit with representatives from Academic Affairs, Student Services and the Office of Online Learning and Educational Technology to make recommendations on how best to provide quality online teaching and learning and support student success. 2022- present 

I represent ESL Credit and Non-Credit to foster communication among faculty on technology for learning and teaching and recommend policies and procedures for the use of technology with the goals of promoting successful learning and student achievement. 2020-present

I collaborate with colleagues on Credit ESL program offerings and department policies. 2017-18, 2020, 2023 to present.

Past Committee Involvement

 I represented ESL Credit and Non-Credit to investigate barriers to success for under-represented students at CCSF; identify needed support to increase persistence semester to semester, and the attainment of basic skills mastery, certificates, degrees, and transfer requirement; advise the Academic Senate on effective strategies for achieving student equity; and foster college-wide dialog on the achievement gap and progress of under-represented students. 2020-2022

 I was selected to represent the college in a 5-person team to design curriculum for the museum exhibit. Presented the curriculum to faculty and staff at Flex Days, Spring and Fall 2020. 2018-present. 

I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to preserve and promote the artwork and special creative projects on CCSF campus. 2016-2020

 I represented ESL Credit and Non-Credit in this steering committee inclusive of faculty, architects, and other community partners to shape the design and construction of the STEAM complex, embracing the principles of “inclusive innovation, future-ready resilience. And radical accessibility”. 2020
