High School Equivalency Prep: Science prepares students for the GED, TASC, or HiSET Science test, and/or credit science courses. Topics include scientific presentations (texts, graphics, formulas, statistics); scientific information from life, earth, space, and physical sciences; and the scientific method.

Details are available on the Course Outline of Record. The course is part of the CCSF Transitional Studies Department high school diploma program. It can be taken as preparation for standardized tests such as the High School Equivalency Test.

This version of the course is a traditional face-to-face course with tech enhancements in the CCSF Canvas learning management system.

All of the materials for the course will be available through Canvas or supplied in the classroom.
