Course Information

High School Algebra 1A is a first course in high school algebra, which covers operations on integers and rational numbers; properties of rational numbers; exponents; expressions, polynomials; factoring, and word problems.

Details are available on the Course Outline of Record. The course is part of the CCSF Transitional Studies Department high school diploma program. It also can be taken as preparation for standardized tests such as the High School Equivalency Test.

This course is fully online with all of the materials for the course available through Canvas. CityZoom will be used for synchronous class meetings (MW 5:30-6:30 pm) and individual appointments.
