Women's History Month!
The origins of Women’s history month started in the Bay Area! In 1978, a Santa Clara teacher named Molly Murphy MacGregor led a "Women's History Week" celebration for Sonoma County. This week built off of March 8 which is International Women's Day. After the Santa Clara event, other communities were inspired and soon a National Women's History Week was declared. Eventually this led to March being dedicated for Women's History Month.

April Horoscope
According to Sally Brompton, New York Post
Aries
You are not the sort to watch every word you say but if you are smart you will think twice before pointing out to others where they have been going wrong. They are well aware of their mistakes and don’t need you to labor the point.
Taurus
It would be nice to believe that everyone is as honest and trustworthy as you are but you know that isn’t true. If you want others to follow your standards and principles today you will most likely be disappointed, so lower your expectations a bit.
Cancer
Someone in a position of authority is keen to see how you handle yourself when the pressure is on and will put you to the test today. Now you’ve had your heads-up you can prepare yourself mentally and emotionally to put on an inspiring show.
Gemini
You may be finding a task you thought would be simple a lot tougher than expected but don’t give up on it. According to the planets you are at the halfway point now, so you might as well carry on to the end. It should get easier soon.
Leo
You will do something today that leaves even those who know you well open-mouthed with astonishment. Life has a been a bit too tame for your liking of late, so stir things up and see where it leads. You’ll have a good laugh if nothing else.
Virgo
If a friend or colleague makes you a tempting offer today you must give yourself plenty of time – 24 hours at least – to think it over. If they try to rush you into making a decision that’s a sure sign it might be wise to give it a miss.
April Horoscope
According to Sally Brompton, New York Post
Libra
The planets warn if you let too many people know what you are aiming to do then one or more of them might try to scupper your plans. Deal with others on a need to know basis today – and the fact is most of them don’t.
Scorpio
If you owe a friend a favor this would be a good day to pay it off. Go out of your way to help them and don’t measure what you do for them by what they did for you – a small act of kindness counts as much as a big one.
Sagittarius
The Sun in the most dynamic area of your chart helps you believe that all things are possible but don’t get carried away. If you bite off more than you can chew today you could end up choking, so be smart and take smaller mouthfuls of life!
Capricorn
Be honest about how you feel today, because if you give others the impression that everything is fine they may continue to do things that upset you. The world at large may think you are tough but you have your sensitive side like everyone else.
Aquarius
It’s not like you to let self-doubt hold you back but today’s Mercury-Pluto link will have you thinking the worst about a situation that nine times out of ten would not worry you in the slightest. Maybe that’s good, maybe you do need to give it more thought.
Pisces
You must be even-handed in situations where there are competing and clashing ambitions. Use your talent for bringing people together to get everyone round a table to discuss their differences, and make sure they all feel free to have their say.
Holidays
highlights of the ones you may have missed
Global Day of Unplugging 3/1
On this special day, people from all around the world come together to disconnect from their devices and reconnect with the present moment. By unplugging, you can rediscover the joys of nature, spend quality time with loved ones, and engage in activities that bring you true happiness.
St. Patricks Day 3/16
St. Patrick's Day, celebrated annually on March 17th, is a fun and festive holiday that honors the patron saint of Ireland and brings people together to celebrate Irish culture and heritage. People often wear green clothing as a nod to Ireland's landscapes, and it's a day filled with joy and camaraderie.
Pi Day 3/14
Pi Day, celebrated annually on March 14th, honors the mathematical constant pi (π), the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. This holiday features various activities, such as pi recitation and pie-eating contests, and many schools and universities organize math-related events. It's a fun and educational holiday that celebrates the fascinating world of mathematics and the constant pi.
