Aschwin - We had to do everything virtually and we couldn’t talk in-person, it made the inquiry cycle harder to complete. We had to share information in apps instead of showing it and eplanianing in-person, we had to pre record our explanations.
Emerson - We had to go into a lockdown and we had to do everything online, and this is very hard.
Tema - We had to record videos and gave to Ms. Kan to edit
PunPun - At first we designed to go to an interview but because covid so we can’t do that so we did the interview in Gmail and we also designed to make the presentation and share the information at school but now we did google site that put our information in.
Putter - It changed because the posters we planned to do cannot be shown in person.
Everything we do is online. Instead of doing posters, we do google sites. Instead of meeting in person, we use zoom.
Wilbur - The thing that changed is the fact that we can’t make any posters and it’s harder to contact each other and we have to do everything virtually.
Aschwin - Asking questions, when the zoom session ends I might have questions and I send them by email. Most of the time I have a delayed response and the questions/question didn’t matter anymore.
Emerson - One of the challenges we faced was we couldn’t be around each other all the time so it was hard to communicate with each other.
Tema - I faced technical problems like the internet and zoom not working.
PunPun - The challenge for me is I have to learn to use a new app and website to do this Exhibition and some time to communicate with my friend is so hard.
Putter - The biggest challenge was communicating with my group. we couldn’t be together all the time, so when I did something on the slide show, I can’t ask them if it’s good.
Wilbur - Not able to talk in person with my group and having to do the exhibition on a screen. Another hard challenge that we face is not able to talk to the teacher so easily and I sometimes feel very frustrated when things don’t work and I am also excited because the exhibition is very near.
Aschwin - The action my group took for our Soi Dog “Taking Action” phase.
Emerson - I enjoyed working with my group and taking action to help Soi Dogs.
Tema - Painting the GOOS boxes because I like doing art and I can use my creativity.
PunPun - I like to draw and find information for my group because I can get new ideas to draw and I get to know more things about our group topic.
Putter - I liked coloring the poster, because I like coloring.
Wilbur - I think it’s the part where we were making the mushroom poster.
Aschwin - Collaboration is important because you need to collaborate with your peers and teachers to get ideas and to answer questions that support your learning. And you can get help from working in a team to guide through your learning process and to share ideas.
Emerson - It is so much easier to get things done when you work well with others.
Tema - You need to collaborate with many people like Mentors,Teachers and your group.
PunPun - If we do the work together it’s become more easy to do your work and you can also get news information and new ideas to do your work from your group.
Putter - When I am in a group, I have to collaborate with them so they know how to improve.
Wilbur - It’s important because if we don’t collaborate we will have different ideas and it won’t even become a decent exhibition
Aschwin - The idea of the Service Learning Project and the many ways we can help people and animals. The information I learnt of Soi dogs and how we can help.
Emerson - I think that it’s our problem solving skills because there were so many opportunities to solve problems due to Covid.
Tema - I think my biggest learning was about how you can take action by making awareness or teach other people about it
PunPun - In this Exhibition I learned a lot about poverty but my biggest learning is I know ways to help people in poverty and not donating for example shear information to your community so they know how to help and know about people in poverty. I learn how to use new applications and websites to do our work.
Putter - The most important thing was group collaboration/ communication because I communicated with my group a lot.
Wilbur - I think it’s the rabies part because it’s a disease that’s very dangerous and I think the parents will always have that in mind
Aschwin - I would advise you to ask your parents and friends for ideas to help find your interest and to get an idea of what you’re going to do.
Emerson - Before you do anything you need to make a plan, this will make it so much easier.
Tema - You have to plan and work together because if you don't you will find it a really hard time doing your work.
PunPun - Sometimes if you want to solve a problem you don’t have to do it all by yourself you can share information to your community and if people that you share information want to solve that problem they will know about that problem and know how they can help.
Putter - My advice is to try your best even when you get stuck, and not give up.
Wilbur - The advice I have is that I have is to be careful and always be kind to all animals
