Zoom is a video communication platform tool that allows users to talk with and see each other in real time.
Zoom is used around the world for educational and professional purposes.
We use Zoom to communicate during remote learning. Teachers are able to teach lessons and connect with students, and students can ask questions and communicate with teachers and fellow classmates.
Zoom is easy to use and can be easily accessed on student Chromebooks. Safety features have been tested and security updates happen continuously.
Zoom will be used for remote learning in grades 3-5 and for Fine Arts and P.E. classes in grades 3-8 during the 20-21 school year.
In the chance that the entire district has to switch to remote learning at any time, Zoom will be the platform that will be used to video conference between teachers and their classes.
