What is Clever?
Clever is a program that allows students to easily sign in to the many technology tools they use.
Younger students can scan a badge to login to technology tools and older students can login with Google.
Clever allows teachers to create custom "libraries" with specific tools for students to access.

Clever makes signing on and accessing websites more secure and safe.
Students do not have to remember multiple passwords to login to multiple websites.
Clever puts all of the technology resources that students need in one spot.

Clever is used to sign into many of the online resources and technology tools that our students use.
Students at Holmes use badges to sign in and students at Maercker and Westview use Google to login to Clever.

Using Clever to login to Zoom
Holme, Maercker and Westview students will find Clever in their "Student Applications" folder on the upper left of their toolbar.
Holmes students will login to Clever with badges, and Maercker and Westview students will login with Google.
Once students are logged into Clever, they will access the many tools listed on their teacher's page the same way they access Zoom in the video on the left.

Teachers may now chat with students through Clever. Click on "Messages" at the top of the Clever page and choose a student you would like to message. You can narrow down your list of students by classes.
