AMOSUP Seamen's Training Center (ASTC) is a training institution located in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines. It is operated by the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP), a prominent labor organization representing Filipino seafarers.

The center provides various training programs and courses designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of maritime professionals, particularly seafarers working on board merchant ships. These training programs cover a wide range of topics, including safety at sea, navigation, ship handling, firefighting, first aid, and other essential maritime skills. The goal is to equip seafarers with the necessary competencies to perform their duties safely and efficiently while complying with international maritime standards.

1. Advanced Tank Cleaning Course (ATCC)

2. Chemical and Product Tanker Simulator Training Course (CPTS)

Extension Service:

1. Training Course for Simulator Instructors and Assessors (IMO Model Course 6.10)

Training Course for Simulator Instructors and Assessors Course (IMO model course 6.10) by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), in cooperation with the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), is a 5-day course (43 hours), intended for MHEIs and MTIs as part of the Administration-approved requirements for simulator instructors and assessors. This endeavor intends to augment the capacity of the faculty members of the CHED approved MHEIS to fully comply with CMO Nos. 31 and 32 series of 2013.

The conduct of the IMO Model Course 6.10 at MAAP is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of AMOSUP and “FREE OF CHARGE” for the participants and considered as Extension Services of MAAP. Only Board and Lodging is charged to the participants for the 5-day duration of the whole course. Participants taking the Course are endorsed by MARINA.

Duration Period of Training: 5 days (43 hours)

Venue of Training: Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, Mariveles, Bataan

Qualification of Trainee: Open for all Maritime Instructors who completed IMO Model Course 6.09, IMO Model Course 3.12 and/or Simulator-based training/s

Course Fee: The training is FREE, inclusive of insurance of trainees while on training. Trainees are to pay Php 3,500.00 for meals and accommodation. For those trainees that will not avail the accommodation they will pay Php 2,500 for meals only.

Entry Requirements

• Photocopy of IMO Model Course 6.09 Certificate

• Photocopy of IMO Model Course 3.12 Certificate

• Photocopy of Simulator Based Training Certificate, if applicable

• 2 pcs 1.5x1.5 recent colored picture
