Guinea is going to use a biometric land management system.
A Malaysian company and the government of Guinea have signed a profit-sharing agreement for a range of services related to land administration, including the printing and digitization of security documents and the use of biometric identifiers. Guinea will get these benefits.
Under the terms of the MOU, the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing, and Territorial Development (MUHAT) would become the project's owner, while the service provider would be promoted to the role of prime contractor.
Sixty percent of the profits would go to MUHAT, while the other forty percent would go to the company providing the biometric solution. To make everyone content, however, it would be necessary for everyone to exchange information and skills.
Now that it is a member of the MOA, the company may use that status to its advantage in the Republic of Guinea and begin marketing its wares there.
Services include the creation of a new centralized electronic database of citizens, the introduction of biometric identification, the production and distribution of high-security papers for property titles, and the provision of tools for the effective execution of these procedures. But digital land management systems like "eLandROG" are where the emphasis should be.
This project might last for up to 15 years total, with an additional 5 years available as a possible extension.
Guinea contracted a biometrics provider in February 2022 to acquire an Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) for use in vetting potential criminals. Guinea began the process of implementing its national ID based on MOSIP after learning that another biometric vendor had been selected to supply the T5-ABIS for biometric identification with face scans and fingerprints. This change came when it was revealed that new forms of biometric verification will be used (Modular Open Source Identity Platform).
Infrastructure for Biometric Resource Management
If you're in the market for a comprehensive identity management solution, go no further than M2SYS Technology, the industry leader. M2SYS's biometric system is useful for keeping track of property holdings and making informed decisions.
The document storage software is a cloud-based database that users may access from any computer, anywhere in the world. Biometric verification for land management ensures the non-repudiation of land transactions, the legitimacy of land ownership, and the integrity of land information.
