Objectives:
Practice making marks in a fluid motion
Practice drawing with the whole arm
Build Confidence in marking paper
Build Accuracy
Steps
Draw 4 horizontal lines on your paper. Make the first line about 2" and increase the length of each line by 1/2" to 1" so you have four lines of increasing length
Fill the rest of your page with curves, S-curves, and at least one spiral
Your sheet should look something like this
Place the tip of your pen at one end of the first line
If you are right handed, place your pen tip on the left end
If you are left handed, place your pen tip on the right end
Ghost over the line or curve multiple times until you feel confident enough to make a mark
Draw over (trace) the line in one fluid motion. Do this 8 times over the same line.
Draw over each marking you have on the paper 8 times. Continue until all marks have been traced.
