Hello Class, We are going to learn how to write emails and captions this week. A caption goes with a photograph and has a specific format. We will also start to take photos and interview the students for our mods during lunch. Please sign up for a lunch time when you and your group can interview students.

Hello Class, We are going to study photography this week and practice different techniques. We will also create a Google Slideshow of ten photos that show these techniques. Your slideshow will be due on Friday. Please note that Friday is the last day of the grading period, so all late work is due by that date. No late work will be accepted after that date. Thank you.

Hello Class, We are going to be presenting our portrait mods this week, and we will learn about interviewing. Soon, it will be time to interview students for your portrait mods. Later in the week, you will interview a classmate and write an essay about them. The essay will be due on Friday.

Hello Class, We have a big week coming up! We are going to vote for the cover and endsheets of the yearbook this week, and we will choose our spreads. We will also begin to discuss colors, fonts, and artwork that we can use for the yearbook. Finally, we will brainstorm questions that we can ask on the portrait pages and choose the ones we want to have.

Hello Class, I hope you enjoyed your four day weekend! We are going to continue working on our theme presentations, and we will present them on Friday, September 25th. Please make sure that you have covered all of the necessary topics. Next week, we will get our groups and choose topics for the yearbook.

Hello Class, We are going to continue our theme presentations this week, with the actual presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will then vote on the theme we want for the yearbook. Later in the week, you will be able to choose your groups. We will then start creating some Google slides for our new theme.

Hello Class, We are going to continue brainstorming the theme of yearbook this week. We will narrow it down to five ideas and then create presentations for each theme. You will present a set of Google Slides with your theme and cover idea next week, and then the class will decide on the final theme.

Hello Class, Thank you for a great first week of school! This week, we will go over the new mission statement for Yearbook class, get signed in for the Walsworth program, learn new vocabulary, and do some team building activities like a scavenger hunt. We will also start talking about Theme. You will begin brainstorming a new theme for this year's book and will put together a list with possible ideas. Your list will be due on Friday, when you present your ideas to the class.

Hello Students! I am so excited to have you in Yearbook this year! We are going to have a great experience and produce an amazing book! This week, we are going to practice team building skills and get to know each other. We will also create a mission statement for our book, sign up for jobs, review the class procedures and materials, and on Friday we will take photos of the student and staff barbecue. Below is a list of suggested class materials. I would like you to have them by Monday, August 24th. Thank you!

Number two pencils and pens for interviewing and note taking
Highlighters in different colors
A composition notebook with college rule
Your computer, charged and ready to use
Your AEW organizer to write your homework down!
